Chante has performed this song countless times, but this one was different. She had me drawn in and in tears! She was sooooo connected in this performance, and she felt it. I felt it! Her control is unmatched!! She can just SING without all of the vocal acrobatics with runs.

It was something spiritual for me when she start going into her songbird singing. Like a cry out to the FATHER! I got teary eyed and when you emphasized on that line “ It’s alright “. I was spiritually moved!

I had the pleasure and honor of singing background for her once. She was very down to earth and hands on. One of my favorite singing memories.

My fiancé and I enjoyed ourselves this night at the City Winery in ATL! It was an experience that he and myself won’t forget. Also she did mention before she started singing that “It’s Alright” became a love song to herself and God. We were just witnessing greatness!
