Why Is Basil Unique?

I have had cats now for 56 years and never heard of CH before. I have read about it now. He does have a beautiful face and I dig those tiger stripes on his legs. Thanks for taking care of all those kitties.

I have a CH cat, AKA Wobbly Cat, and she will be 11 in August. I have had Paisley since she was 8 weeks old, but my daughter and I were unaware of her CH when we adopted her. We had never heard of it, but Paisley's wobbly walk and lack of coordination along with her tremors when she gets excited led us to discover she has CH. Yes, she grooms herself the same as our other cats, and her tail is also functioning normally. Paisley is pretty high functioning, but she can't climb very high or hold her weight for long if she does climb, and she is simply comical in her mobility. She can't jump the way Basil does, but she can jump up on the furniture, but nothing higher than that. Paisley is an absolute love, and her having CH is not a major issue at all. She is family and an absolutely adorable cat family member. We are totally grateful for her. I'm very grateful I now know about CH due to Paisley having it. Most cat people I know are not familiar with it, so your video is very much needed. Thank you!

Nice to meet you, Beautiful Lady. Basil is very special and so lucky that you found him... and his sisters too. I rescued 3 kittens years ago that all had CH. One was worst than the other 2. They each had their own names, but collectively, I referred to them as my "Wiggle Worms". They definitely were my most special cats. My vet wanted to put them down at first, but I was determined to give them the best life that I could. They lived to be about 7 years old and I loved every moment I had with them. You're a good Mama Cat ! ❤❤❤
