If Ian gets his cameo as an armorer in the next John Wick, I want him introduced in disguise as a Chili's bartender.
  • Incredible that CMMG and Calico took the time to submit content for the video. As fellow firearm nerds, it's awesome to be able to get answers to questions that are typically reserved to friends of employees, or industry events where such questions may be discussed openly. I really hope you'll continue to receive cooperation from manufacturers like that in the future.
  • @zaffdos
Answer to first question: Bring an AR, claim to be actual Gun Jesus
  • @quatro_quatro
"Hey guys, thanks for coming in. I'm Ian McCollum and welcome to Chili's!"
  • @americanrepair
Without a beard and mustache Ian would look like a senior in high school who plays hackey sack all lunch.
  • @elo9125
Big props to Jordan from CMMG and Chris from Calico! It's really cool seeing actual gunsmiths talking about their thought processes, trial and error and compromises they had to make to arrive at a result. They both seemed a little stressed from being in front of camera, so even bigger props for sticking with it all the way through.

The fact that Ian is able to get companies to respond to viewer based questions is amazing. Genuinely changing the way things are done over time.
  • @Copenharvest
So in other words you would travel back in time to a medieval battle, AR in hand, and present yourself as literal Gun Jesus. Edit: Dammit somebody beat me to it haha.
  • @adotare9180
Yeah, but if you only publish 80% of the video, YouTube can't call it a firearm video and take it down. We just have to put the other 20% together ourselves. Ghost videos!
  • @ninja393
Coming soon: Colt sues KE Arms, but goes bankrupt in the process.
  • I would take with me in a medival battle, a big supply of antibiotics.
  • CMMG: Sexy young spokesmodel in a meticulously laid out studio displaying their most photogenic products and collectible merchandise. Calico: Grizzled old factory worker that the PR / HR / Bookkeeping / Secretary lady hastily slapped a Calico hat on who just wants to read the script he was given and get back to work on the machine in the background. Placing my order for a Calico as we speak.
  • @Tadicuslegion78
Ian: If I was on a medieval battlefield with a 20th century firearm.... Ash Williams: Alright you primative screwheads, listen up.
  • @LOUDcarBOMB
8:25 I like that CMMG shirt that has the Contra 3 styling to it.
  • @UnDeaDCyBorg
#05:21 If there was a new powder twice as powerful, I'd just halve the amount of powder and make the cartridges smaller.
  • @nolsp7240
Forget bringing a gun. Just bring Joerg Sprave and make tons of money selling new weapons. - "Let me show you it's featuures"😅😅😅
