I enjoyed this video that you went into great detail. Thanks for sharing. I'm going to do a project that detects the distance between two devices, and then sends that distance to the database for storage. I'm wondering to have some guidance about hardware and software.

Is it possible to use a receiver to pickup a signal from a remote control on the same frequency or does the receiver and transmitter only work with each other?

I was trying to make a same card of mine rather then buy from market since it has all passive components, other then one tune-able inductor(green one in middle ) so can you tell me how to tune it for best reception? or if i have purchased one how do i know it is calibrated to get best reception so i dont need to tune it further?(since sometimes it is not glued to lock screw position)

Hi, Nice video!!! Im currently working on a similar project. Got a few question regarding the transmitter/receiver. Is it possible to use multiple transmitters on a single receiver? What is the power consumption of the transmitter? Can I use a coin cell battery to power the transmitter?

Can the transmitter send out different signals 20 different signals and the receiver give 20 outputs ? Or is multiple units required ?
