With their thick coats, Pomeranians can seem like they're made for cooler climates, so can they live in Hot Weather? And is there any extra Summer Care we need to follow for our Pomeranians?

    without AC, it's very difficult. i am from Kolkata, India. we hv to keep AC on all the time fr him + Fruit juice, ORS fr keep him hydrate.

    You may be tempted to shave a pomeranian to help keep it cool in hot weather. DON'T!! 🤯 Shaving will not help a pom in the summer. Plus there is a high probability that once a pom's coat has been shaved, it won't grow back correctly and/or will cause the pom to develop alopecia (loss of coat) as it gets older. These outcomes are not 100% certain but there is no way to predict them ahead of time.
