  • I had a 1980 T Saratoga right before I moved into my 414. Great plane. Prepared me well for my move up into the 414. My wife and I used to take the back seats out and load our 10 speed bikes and fly to the small islands in Lake Erie (Put In Bay, Kelly's Island), Traverse City and Mackinac Island.

Used to own a 2001 Saratoga II TC. You did a great job updating the avionics!

Thanks Sushee. It’s always a pleasure to fly with you.

Hey I know that guy! Still not enough buttons within easy reach for a co-pilot though. 😁

What kinds of mounts and cameras did you use for this trip? I'm about to buy a Saratoga II TC and would love to be able to show off this great airframe and our travels.

Does the overhead panel restrict your forward visibility? I’m a tall Pilot looking at a Sara as a possible purchase.

Great video guys! Some of the "usual suspects" flying around CYGK!

I'm flying a plane with a 650. I use foreflight on ipad with Stratus receiver for weather. Any comment on xm weather vs the weather from stratus/foreflight?

Hello. I’m very interested in the actual speed. You said in the video 155 knots At 15.5 GPH and 8.500ft. Is that the maximum continuous cruise setting ? If not could you tell What’s the maximum cruise settings are and the corresponding speed and fuel burn ? That would be HIGHLY appreciated:)! Thanx ! (Ps. Is This an HP Saratoga or turbo charged?) thanx again!

The continuous music was irritating beyond words.

Panel has too much stuff and is far too busy.
