DJI Mini 3 Pro - Change These 2 Settings For Better Sunset Video

If you are a new drone pilot you may have noticed sometimes it's hard to capture colorful sunrise and sunset videos and photos with the DJI Mini 3 Pro. They can be overexposed and washed out with very little color. There are many advanced things you can do to make them more vibrant but as a new drone pilot, it can be complicated and a little overwhelming. In this video I will show you 2 simple settings you can change that will make your sunset and sunrise videos more appealing and moody when capturing with your DJI Mini 3 Pro or other similar drone...no color grading is required just follow these easy tips.

    Thank you! I really need to spend more time tweaking and working with the advanced settings. Auto mode for the most part is sufficient, especially if you are in a hurry to film so you don't miss an important moment. Tweaking is tedious and sometimes disappointing if you get it really wrong while rushing to get the shot. Yup! There is a risk in just about everything you do! LOL! Just enjoy flying and filming! You'll be happy. Thanks for sharing!

    I've been watching your videos and you do a great job of explaining things in a calm, clear straightforward manner. I'm considering getting a Mini 3. I shoot video with my Fuji H1, but I've been watching a lot of travel videos and drone footage really spices things up. We have a trip to Austria and Slovenia planned for December and it would be great to take the Mini 3 along.

    Good tip. If you adjust your kelvin temp too much, everything in the foreground turns too warm. A polarizing filter can help to add richness allowing for less adjustment.
