  • My vet almost kill my 2 years old yorkie with the vaccines, Rabies and heartworms she got so sick with vomiting and diarrhea that I was scared my poor baby was going to die. Had to take her to an emergency clinic. Never again, no more vaccines for my baby.

I say the same thing. My dog is a house dog. We go on walk of course. But she’s rarely around other dogs. She eats a healthy diet. She is in perfect health

Many, many years ago when you took your dog for a yearly exam the vet checked eyes, abdomen, etc. Now a yearly exam only means more shots and the vet never does a good physical exam, not checking eyes, abdomen, etc. I also don't understand how highly educated professionals clearly go against guidelines.

The tick thing is pretty scary. My dog Buddy last summer got really sick. He was in pain and couldn't walk. We thought he was gonna die. My husband took him to the vet. The Vet gave him flea and tick medication. Buddy immediately started to get better. Buddy wasn't even a year old yet. He is a big dog (lab/Golden retriever) he is black and tan(mostly black) with thick medium length hair. Apparently, it is actually pretty common for black dogs to have tick issues. The ticks are drawn to them because they can hide and go undetected. So, we give him the monthly chewable medication once a month. We haven't had an issue since. We live in the South mini woods right next to our fence and a hunting club(woods) in our back yard basically. Heck we have to do tick checks on ourselves in the summer. I'm not saying natural remedies aren't the best, but in our situation the monthly medication is a better option. I was so scared when my buddy got sick. If you have a black dog be more vigilant about ticks.

I am a breeder and a former vet tech. I only do puppy vax and then titers every three years. Just had a 17 year old dog pass and her titers were good to the end. It should be up to the owner but the vets push and push and push and won't see you unless you vaccinate. You won't get past the front desk staff to have a "conversation" with the vet about your dog's lifestyle.

My dog only had vaccines since he was a puppy, and got only 3 shots of anti rabies of anti rabies all his life. He lived until 15 years and 5 months. He was a healthy shih tzu most of his life.
  • Recently My vet refused to see my indoor cats again if I refuse vaccination … thus I’m over the vets … bye-bye … (My emotional support cats never leave my home)
  • Dogs naturally magazine online talks about this stuff too.. My one dog ended up getting cancer shortly after her 10th birthday after she received yearly vaccines.. no more except puppy and rabies
  • I love my vet on a personal level but I am so tired of fighting her on food. I have just started lying to her about what I feed. I just lost my last dog recently and am getting a new pup in November. I am searching for a new vet but even the ones listed as holistic here don’t seem too progressive. I am really worried because my current vet does not listen
  • i support everyone doing their own research and definitely make your own choices that are best for your pets! please educate yourselves no one person is a holy grail of information
  • THIS is an EXCELLENT excerpt from an Outstanding conversation/another video. ❤❤❤❤
  • Can you please do a video on the dangers of cytopoint. I lost my dog in October due to an autoimmune disease he developed from a cytopoint shot. I don’t want anyone to go through what I did watching my dog die. He was treated at UT for pemphigus. His case was turned into the manufacturer as the probable cause of the disease
  • @SillyMe43
I am happy I came across this video I’ve been wanting a dog for a long time so this great to know when the time comes
  • @dbarb0813
THANK YOU for talking about this. I saw another retired vet was saying the same thing.
  • Omg..thank so much for all you information 😊.. .it very helpful because in special for senior dogs.😊❤
  • I travel with my dog and in order to him to go with me he has to have all those vaccines. So, if they’re not needed then why is a requirement for different countries?
