Combining a sci-fi aesthetic with natural materials, the concept by American designer draws from the landscape of Southern California as well as its vehicular centerpiece.

The garage's interiors are a blend of brutalism and mid-century Modernism, reflecting Kelly Wearstler's design sensibility - mixing historical and contemporary influences to reimagine the idea of a habitable space. Drawing from the textures of the desert landscape, the design incorporates travertine flooring and sand-coloured plaster for its walls and ceilings. These earthy materials serve as a counterpoint to the cast glass elevators and stairway in the structure's liveable space.
