Top of South Carolina - Sassafras Mountain Summit

This was the 4th state highpoint we did on a roadtrip around the South East US to top 8 state highpoints. This would also be the first of 3 state highpoints we would summit in 1 day. Sassafras Mountain is 3554 feet tall and is the 29th highest state highpoint in the US.

Side note, my other videos I've already posted had each of our total Highpoints off by 1. This video has the correct totals for each of us. Its hard keeping up with 4 people who have 4 different totals!

    We did Mount Mitchell 2 months ago. What a beautiful state. Also did about 7 miles on the Appalachian trail. We will definitely be going bsck.

    Hopefully you got to check out some of the waterfalls and stuff in this area. I love this lesser-visited area of NC.

    Is hiking mandatory? How steep is it? I want to go but someone in my party may not be up for a strenuous hike.
