I love whenever Scott shows off the Mario Maker 2DS, like he’s trying to get value out of it
-
Finally! A way for me to buy and play the games I already own!
-
I love how according to Nintendo Hyrule Warriors could work on the original 3DS, but not Super Nintendo games.
-
Oh thank god. I needed my daily fix of Scott talks about the Wii U in a slightly different way than how he’s talked about the Wii U before
-
They were too concerned with whether they could, they didn't stop to think about whether they should
-
As a WiiU and a 3DS owner, the 3DS kinda felt like a weird twisted portable WiiU. Tons of games that are similar to WiiU games or just straight up ported games. Just kinda makes the WiiU feel less like a joke, and more like a clown

The Wii U is Scott’s Roman Empire

Hopefully now this means we can get a “DS Games on Wii” episode. No idea how many of those there even are, but anything to get Scott to talk about the Phoenix Wright Trilogy on Wii
-
Yeah 3DS was my primary gaming tool during this time, so I enjoyed the hell out of the likes of Mario Maker, Hyrule Warriors and Smash Bros no matter how compromised they were on the handheld.
-
I was honestly a little impressed by captain toad on 3ds. It looked great in 3D
-
Never forget the Skylanders games on 3DS which were their own unique platformer fighters like Crash/Spyro. Very underrated and a cool little side adventure to the console versions.
-
Scott doesn't know the torture of only having a 3DS to play Hyrule Warriors... And by torture, I actually mean pure joy because Hyrule Warriors actually plays great for the system. I say that 100% unironically
-
Here's a weird one that technically doesnt count: around 2013(?) Hideki Kamiya said that he wanted to make a Bayonetta spin off on 3DS starring Jeanne. Obviously it never came to fruition, but in Bayo 3 there's those weird Jeanne missions that seem exactly like what he envisioned
-
If I had a dollar every time Scott said the 3DS - Wii U era was a very interesting/strange time in Nintendo history I’d be rich.
-
If there's one thing we can count on, is Scott talking about the Wii U

This is perfect I just finished a 2 and a half hour video on the Will U
-
As someone who never owned a Wii U, I for one very much appreciated these ports

Quick shoutout to Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn. The 2019 3ds port of a 2010 Wii game that has tons of new content for some reason and is the definitive version released on a system when its successor was already 2 years old.
