The Angel face you see is the Haserot, named āThe Angel of Death Victorious". The stoic angel is seated on the marble gravestone of canning entrepreneur Francis Haserot and his family. Holding an extinguished torch upside-down, it represents a symbol of life extinguished. Wings are outstretched and the gaze is straight ahead.
IN THE END, DEATH ALWAYS WINS. LEST THE FACES NOT BE FORGOTTEN...
This channel is focused on casually walking and viewing a handful of the thousands of forgotten names and faces at various cemeteries near and afar. Seeing their faces up close. And when able, telling the stories behind their names.
Most graves are unknown and lost to history.
Some are famous.
And some infamous....
....and some with tragic endings.

This has to be the most organized yet packed cemetery Iāve ever seen. Itās hauntingly beautiful. I could spend a week in there and not see every single one. Itās gorgeous to say the least. Astonishing. āØ

Oh my gosh! I love that you went back with the 4K. What a remarkable difference in both picture and sound!! These families must be buried on top of each other. I worked at the Bohemian Home for the aged in Chicago for about 3 years from 76-79 (actually lived there too in the old school building behind the nursing home). My favorite thing was taking time to sit down with some of the residents and listening to their stories. I just LOVED that! When I worked at Columbia County Health Care Center in Wyocena Wisconsin, one lady used to have an Amish neighbor come and visit her with their horse and buggy. I worked at Wisconsin Dells Health and rehab too. Those nursing home jobs were my favorite jobs. Just loved every second of it because of the older folks and all of their stories. High 5 to Pedro and Shawn šloved those last few encore stones!! š„°

Iāve been visiting this place since I was a little girl. My great grandparents were laid to rest here. The statues are hauntingly beautiful.

So glad you came back and found so many gorgeous sculptures and carved headstones! So full, and a much different layout then cemeteries I've seen. The inset sculptures are incredible. I really loved the sculpture of the couple..their expression do certainly look so lifelike! Simply amazing art work! I love what you do Ron. Thanks for letting us see this beauty. You're so incredibly respectful and amazing at what you do! Always interesting and so professional. The reasons you gave for having this channel completely shines through you in every single video! The music in the beginning is so beautiful that it made my heart happy. Lil Jimmy flying in like an angel surveying all the graves is so beautiful. I loved how Lil Jimmy swooped past Mother Mary and Baby Jesus. Gorgeous statue! When I saw you re-did the walk through of this beautiful cemetery and all the amazing busts and statues and sculptures with such crisp picture and sound, I had a couple tears roll out of my eyes. You are such a nice guy and you have such an appreciation for beauty, history, architecture, design, and art. Thank you for doing this vivid, crisp footage since the signal was weak the other day. You are just terrific Ron. Many blessings to you, and your family.

Iāve been to a lot of cemeteries and Iāve never seen one with graves so packed together. Itās well cared for as well. So many souls some gone so long. We stand on their shoulders they are the history we build on.

Hello from Finland, Ron!š First time noticing a script that said that the soldier was buried in Europe. Private Felix M. Olivia was killed in action and buried in France. (20:47) So sad but probably the reality with many fallen soldiers who were overseas
-
That guy Amma almost looks like Robin Wiliams, rest his soulš wow, you know what's great about this beautiful cemetery, it's as if they are not alone, like one big happy family, close together, there are some awsome head stones and statues , thanks for the walkš»

This is the most amazing cemetery I've ever seen! Wonderful monuments and stories. I agree with you, Ron. If we could only know everyone's story, what spectacular things would we hear? Thank you for going back and giving us more glimpses.
-
Ron, I canāt thank you enough for making a return visit to St. Michaelās which for me anyway is a one-off. Incredibly artful and beautiful. So much to see and take in. Thank you for picking up the flags, Ron.
