It's disappointing that The Times are giving so much airtime to such an extreme and insignificant group.
-
Kemi "I'm negotiating with Canada!" Badenoch? Kemi "Canada: we're not negotiating" Badenoch? Kemi "doubling down on the lie about negotiating with Canada" Badenoch? I'm sure it will be fine.
-
Who cares !Shes yesterdays news if the press stop giving her air time !
-
Every time there's a Tory leadership bid it seems like a race to bottom. May the worst person win?
-
Shows you how terrible Kemi Badenough is when it takes Cruella Braverman to make her look good 😂
-
I love the fact that the Tories are going to pick a new unelectable leader to further drag them down.
-
Suella Braverman, no discipline, no integrity and no honour.
-
The Parlimentary Tories really need to do themselves a favour and not put the leadership vote to the nationwide members of the party. They are guaranteed to vote for the most loony rightwing candidate on offer. Learning from past mistakes isn't something they do... Let's face it, if they could learn from the past, it's unlikey they would be Tory Party Members!
-
God what an awful choice .
-
Suella Braverman has allies? Really?
-
The faces of Kemi and Suella are frighteningly scaring. Just imagine one of them as PM? 😮😮😮😮
-
Why is Kemi Badenoch a thing??? I'd literally never heard of her before she decided to just... run for leader against Rishi Sunak and Liz Truss!
-
The Tories have already had three ghastly female leaders, starting with the deeply divisive Thatcher, the hopelessly useless May, and the deranged ego-tripping Truss. If they choose the arrogant uppity Badenoch they'll be sentencing themselves to permanent opposition which, now we think about it, will probably be a good thing.

What is better? Pest or Cholera?🤢🤯🤮
-
Really the Members will not accept Braverman or Badinoch as both try too hard my bets is it won't be anyone linked to the cabinet and hopefully not a PartyGater
-
Look, we don't care about the Tories anymore! Less airtime!!
-
So which piece of carrot in the post England game pool of sick will they go for?
-
Tugenhat's probably the least insane. They'll go for Badenoch, though.
-
Theo sounds exactly like the Harry Enfield character- Nice but Dim 😅

The Conservative Party seem to have learned nothing about choosing a leader. The Party are likening the choosing of a leader to a personality contest before the internal discussion about future vision and what the Party should stand for going forward. They need a competitive positioning v Labour and v Reform. Then choose the leader best able to articulate the positioning.
