How does this bigger internal trauma leads to thinking that it's all about sexuality?

The clip isn't complete but I think the sexuality isn't the center of this particular dream. And as far as I know Freud didn't clarified it as such, But Lacanian school, as Zizek, goes further to explain/interprate it as a cruel dillemma; a choice between two painful traumatic reality (external vs internal). In other words between "the unbearable grief" as result of the loss of his son in the awaking state (external reality) and "the guilty-feeling" of being responsible of the death of his beloved son due to his neglegance in the dream itself (internal reality).

@ididete But what do you think about the things said in this particular video? Or did you comment just to release some misdirected anger? I like his books because he engages in critical thinking, not because he is good at interpreting Lacan or Freud or Deleuze. I like what he says not because he is or isn't able to get through a speech without displaying tics but because his thought is unique and lacks the attractive facade that many famous people put on in order to enchant an audience.

His nose rubbing and shirt tugging might be a mold form of Tourette's. I know of people with it who sniff and adjust constantly. Sometimes it abates for a while when really focussed on something. Regardless, it makes him even more insanely great.

Wow, not a single comment on topic here. Is anyone even slightly interested by his assumption that external traumas refer to prior internal traumas; or that if true, sex, being our original sin/trauma, is the object-cause of any and all external trauma?
