If like my Porsche, the roof stopped working, this Microswitch is most likely what broke. It’s a very common issue on Boxsters that can cause huge issues but can be corrected with a very easy fix as shown here.

When closing your roof if it doesn't go up 100% and you still see some daylight it's better to cup your fingers inside one of those oval shaped helpers and pull forward an inch or so which will take the pressure of the latch assembly.
