I like the 1978 version better. However, the 2018 ROCKS too!

The music in the old clip had more depth and color to it. The new version was just louder jazzier and not as dramatic.

This is not the base for 2202 series, the 2202 used the Farewel Yamato version and they really similar in comparison especially the music

The hand-drawn water effects from the original look WAY better. CG should only be used for the ships. It looks bad for everything else.
