She was either incompetent, negligent, or malign, there are no other options there and the fact that she held the role she did says everything about the value of CEO's.

Extract from Venell's email of Dec 17th 2014 about The One Show: "What I thought was helpful was that it presented Horizon as the problem, which is exactly what SS say they haven't found. And so easier for us to refute." In my humble opinion this, with her comments on two individual cases, is devastating it shows she was intimately familiar with the details of what was happening. Her tearful claims of ignorance ring hollow. The documents reveal so much.
