A message to Sony Playstation about the state of Bloodborne in 2024. I understand Fromsoftware doesn't even own the game...Sony does. Which is likely way Bloodborne Remastered/Remake/2 will release with the PS6...one can hope!

Bloodborne is a 2015 action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 4. Bloodborne follows the player's character, a Hunter, through the decrepit Gothic, Victorian-era–inspired city of Yharnam, whose inhabitants are afflicted with a blood-borne disease which transforms the residents, called Yharnamites, into horrific beasts. Attempting to find the source of the plague, the player's character unravels the city's mysteries while fighting beasts and cosmic beings.

If you think loading times are bad now, there are probably launch era plasma TV's with BLOODBORNE burned into the screen.

I don’t expect a corporation like Sony to care about the fans of their games, but I at least expect them to care about the stupid amount of money a remaster of this game would make.

The worst part about the 30 fps lock is that Lance McDonald has conclusively demonstrated that unlocking the game to 60 fps absolutely does not break the game (and why should it; it's the same engine as DS3, Sekiro, AC6 and Elden Ring)
  • @toxenzz
So it’s a fast paced game locked to 30 FPS

I'll forever love Bloodborne, but goddamn, that hike back to Logarius is downright egregious.

Purely from a business standpoint, just sitting on this IP and doing nothing is asinine; majority of people who’ve played Bloodborne not only love it, but it’s probably one of their favourite games ever. 100% of those people would happily pay $60 (or more) for a remastered (maybe even an updated) edition. Plus, an entirely new generation of gamers would be introduced to this masterpiece. Even just opening up the game to other platforms; everyone who loves Bloodborne has salivated at the thought of the potential for PC mods, etc. If they don’t do anything for the tenth anniversary next year, I fear the worst.

A remake with a more convenient fast travel system and more quality of life improvements is such a profitable decision. Its insane Sony is gatekeeping this game
  • @UncleBubs202
This game will forever be a masterpiece no matter the fps and to experienced souls players

Micolash fight is not random😔 to put it simply just think of it as a box pushing puzzle 99% of the time he will just run to the opposite direction from where you are chasing him so you need to stop chasing him blindly from behind when he stops in front of the door don't approach him from above or below approach him from the left to PUSH him into the room.

If Bloodborne had Demon’s Souls Remake loading times it wouldnt matter if you had to go back to the hunter’s dream for fast travel, the hub is basically a playable fast travel menu at that point and i think that was the original vision in the first place

I wouldn't say it's showing its age. It's not even 10 years yet. If we got 60fps and 1080p HD, it would actually look a lot better.
  • @NemilNihil
CANT confirm this. I played Bloodborne in 2023 right after Elden Ring and had an absolute blast
  • @coraline2770
Even just a pc port It would be the fastest purchase ever
  • I just beat Bloodborne for the first time today. I thought this game is incredible
  • @Sweetbabypea
I’ve seen the modded bloodborne with 60fps and man does it look like a whole new game
  • @098Xzibit
I really want this on PC. And no I don't want a remake like with Demon's Souls. While it looks cool, they've changed soo much and the original art design was lost. I'd hate to see it happen with Bloodborne, all it needs is 60 FPS and it's perfect as it is. Edit: 1. When it comes to FPS a modder already unlocked it and the game's logic runs perfectly fine on 60 FPS. 2. Bloodvials absolutely need no change. Once you can buy them they're very easy to get. Like mentioned people just didn't know and cried about it.
  • @Regularlegs
Lance MacDonald already proved that Bloodborne can run at 60 fps on both ps4 and ps5

I got a buddy into Elden Ring and he's obsessed with it, then I tried to get him into Bloodborne which is by far my favorite soulsbourne game. He could not get through it when it came to loading, the vial farming, and the 30fps. Makes me sad, because people won't understand how incredible the game was at launch.
