Man, the lyrics in this song is absolutely mindblowing. You will be missed, Jim! Rest In Peace, Jim Steinman
-
Jim and Rory : "Let's perform a literal masterpiece and then have other people sing it and get famous!"
-
WHY HAS RORY NEVER BECOME A MAJOR STAR BEATS THE HELL OUTTA ME
-
Definitely my favorite rendition of this song with the simplistic piano and vocals plus some of the added lyrics I LOVE Rest peacefully Jim
-
Wow. This is one of the best performances of this song. Rory Dodd should have been the star.
-
I've been crying for days. RIP Jim....
-
Rory is like a secret hidden gem in music, such a talent mixed in with many great artists over the years.
-
Genius is an understatement
-
RIP. Steinman Forever.
-
Rory Dodd is clearly one of THE MOST UNDERRATED vocalists EVER! No offence and with all due respect to Meatloaf, Dodd should have been a headliner just as well with that voice! Then we have Jim Steinman who composed some amazing songs that blew the charts away by the very popular artists who sang them... Why these two didn't become something together is beyond me! Talk about a super duo!
-
As much as I love Air Supply's version of this, I like Rory Dodd singing it better. And why hasn't Jim Steinman been recognized for the excellent pianist he is? This is a gem indeed!
-
Jim Steinman the reason and the inspiration I got into music and motorcycles...!!!
-
I have seen Air Supply live 5 times since the age 14..And until a few minutes ago I stunned the demo is better than the famous #1 version. RIP JS.
-
