Angry Elephant Charges Safari Guide | Big 5 | African Wild Elephants

We experienced this nerve-wracking encounter in the heart of South Africa near the Kruger National Park. Tension was building up searching for this herd of 22 African Elephants. This Elephant Bull charged the Safari Guide and our Game Viewing Vehicle. Cazwell, our tracker, nearly wet his pants experiencing this deadly charge. He did an excellent job to cope under these unusual circumstances. I love it when he says: "What's wrong with you?" Nature always makes me feel small. Such a memorable experience!

Never ceases to amaze me how such a big animal just seems to melt into the bush. Once saw a herd of elephants cross the road in Hwange, Zimbabwe and in less than a minute they had disappeared into the thicket. Almost by magic

Excellent job, Guide, for staying cool. If you're out in the bush and your guide panics then you will suffer an immediate evacuation of the bowels !

Elephants are so graceful but yet so intimidating.. I couldn’t imagine being this so close up it would be so humbling and probably floor my emotions.

I love it when he says 'whats wrong with you' the elephant says I'm going to knock down a few trees and then we'll have a chat.
