The impact of the account of Jesus's resurrection on history is undeniably profound. However, the truth of Jesus's resurrection is a bothersome one, and it has always been so. From the beginning, there were lies about Jesus's resurrection, and this lie spread so dangerously that it continues to circulate today, leading many people astray. The Bible recounts that Jesus rose from the dead sometime before dawn on Sunday. His tomb was guarded by soldiers, but they were taken by surprise by the appearance of an angel who descended from heaven and rolled away the stone that sealed the tomb's entrance.
When the leaders of the time learned what had happened, they bribed the soldiers who had guarded Jesus's tomb. In fact, the chief priests and elders paid a substantial sum for the soldiers to lie about Jesus's resurrection, spreading the false story that Christ's followers had stolen his body during the night.

Philippians 1:21 For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

The life, the death and the resurrection of the Son of God is a historical fact. The atonement for our sins is a theological matter which is found in the promise of God Himself.

Those religious leaders who fabricated that lie and put it into action are still being judged for the billions of people who, because of the lie, have not aรงcepted Jesus Christ as their savior.
