    I have loved the game of cricket for 43 years......I thank the cricket gods that I have been given the privilege to watch nearly every delivery that Warne bowled at Test level in Australia. The world of cricket will NEVER see his like again.

    SKW will be pencilled in the annals of cricket as the best all round cricketer to ever have played the game. The best bowler by a country mile. The most competitive player ever. One of the greatest tacticians in cricket. More than a useful batsman. Fantastic slips fieldsman. It is speculated he would have made a superb captain of the OZ side but the snowflake high moralist OZ selectors kept their egos in tact by not appointing him. Above his bowling even, my own view is, his greatest attribute was his ability to unify a cohesion in the side through his inspiring performances on the field, to instantly assess moments of opportunity in a match and his intuitive ability to psych the opposition into atrophy. He could magically anesthesise the enemy. There has never been a cricketer of such quality.
