A proud moment for the local politicians. Yet, the voters will vote in the same problems in. Way to go .

You’re gonna tell me that people are not pissing and shitting in that water? Yeah right!

For such a movement towards environmental protection, it really is confusing as to why EPA is allowing all the debris, human waste, and dirty needles in public spaces.

I work at a warehouse near that well. And the homeless keep breaking open our fence and dumpster dive in our dumpsters. They've even broken in our trucks to see if they can find anything of value.
  • Hearing City of Portland and Port of Portland officials playing hot potato with who actually has jurisdiction over the land is disgusting. All the leaders of those organizations need to be fired.
  • “Water is safe” Im sure that’s what Flint told residents too.

The portland mayor loves the homeless. People are moving out of Portland because of this.

You guys voted for this, feel free to trust the person who says the city water is free of human waste.

I used to love visiting Portland… now it’s “Port Landfill”
  • It’s so sad. This is the reason my husband and I moved away from the Portland area after living there 42 years together. It’s not just about the drinking water, it’s what they are doing to the rest of our environment.
  • It’s not a crisis, it’s a business in Portland. Keep the people in need and you can control them.

After moving from Portland 3 months ago to a place with no homeless and no trash - I can say whole heartdly that Portland is going to become Detroit. Portlandfillia
  • I live in an rv and lived there on marine drive. I left cause it was just to much. For the way I like to live. Just because you are "homeless " does not give you the right to litter in our water ways and destroy our beautiful city.
  • Think of the hundreds of millions spent each year trying to “fix” the problem, yet the problem only grows. That should tell folks a lot about who is running things.

I use to love driving down Marine Drive. My wife and I use to have small picnics there. Now it's just a big cesspool.

Just because you are poor, drug addicted or angry at the government it still doesn’t give you the right to trash the places around you. I could get over seeing tents but it’s the trail of trash coming from each site that is not acceptable.

Portland metro is disgusting!!!!! I moved to Idaho a few months ago and I have no regrets. Oregon politics has ruined a beautiful state.
  • Can you imagine how fast the city would be on you if your property looked like this. Gresham threatened to fine me cause I had a car on a section of my driveway that wasn't paved. How fast their tune changes when it them on the receiving end.
  • There is a difference between living outside and trashing your surroundings!!!

Can I just build a house in a riverfront without permission? Seems like everyone else can do what they want
