The husband who came home from Afganistan to be with his wife on the anniversary of the loss of their little girl (literally - she didn't look old enough for school yet), totally melted me from the inside out. That's a couple who will last.
  • Too all the women who stayed loyal to their husbands who leave and not cheat... thank you... you make a man want to fight 10x more.

That's one cool history teacher. Only a blind man wouldn't see how important he is to his students. How beautiful!

Let's have a moment of silence for those who didn't come home 🕊️ 🪦

The moms seeing their kids again gets me every time. For those who didn't get to come home to a joyful mother, I'm most grateful for all that you gave up in service for this country and my freedoms. To all those who did get to see their moms again, never forget and embrace every day that you get to. Much love to all you out there!

Thank you for including the heroes of Ukraine. So many have given the ultimate sacrifice to defend their country and democracy. Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦 Heroyim Slava 🌻
  • I lost my dad when I was 9, to those who still have their dads, tell them that you love them.

I guess I needed that cry. The soldier showing up to comfort his wife on the daughter’s anniversary… the way she cried and how he just closed the laptop😢 damn…

my oldest brother did this to me a few times. best moments of my life, he unfortunately passed when i was 12. make sure you tell your loved ones that you love them because sometimes they just dont come home.
  • My father officially retires from the military TODAY! He missed out on 9 or 10 years of my life and was mostly there for the other 5 years. These people sacrifice everything, their lives, and their children's lives and childhood. I applaud anyone who serves, and I thank you all -- I can't wait for the next 2 or 3 years when I can finally follow in his footsteps.

It's the "Mommy!" and "Daddy!" from the young ones that get me every time.
  • These stories always bring tears to my eyes! I lost my father Dec. 26th 1969 to cancer. Rip Major Carl C Catherine USAF!❤

The teacher moment was wholesome. Like it’s rare seeing student being so connected to the teacher

Oh man. I NEVER get tired of these! I remember how my mom cried and hugged my oldest brother when he came home for leave from the navy during the Vietnam war. It still brings tears to my eyes when I think of it almost 60 years later! ❤❤❤

I was refereeing a youth football game in 2021 and the guy in charge said “we’re gonna have a special announcement before kickoff” and then the announcer started talking and I look to the scoreboard and see a soldier running to the field who was a player and cheerleader’s dad back from Africa after 10 months. I’ve seen countless of these videos and I finally got to witness one in person and they’re even better in person
  • My son coming home from the army safe and sound was the best blessing a mother could get.

I was unloading a truck at the store I worked at when my cousin came home from Iraq to surprise us. I was told there was someone here to see me and I stepped through the door of the stock room to see him. I could only say his name, surprised, and hug him. We grew up like brothers, and it is still a vivid memory for me that makes me smile every time I think about it. This was years ago, and he's out of the service now and running his own business, but I still remember that day, and I don't take for granted any chance I get to see him.

My husband coming home from deployment was the best gift ever given to me.
