I loove this Nanelle, I love s&p500. I started with £500 about five months after moving to the UK and I do not regret. I also support investing back home no matter what. I lived in Sweden and moved back home before coming to the UK. From that experience I learnt the hard way and first thing I did after coming to the UK was invest in Kenya before thinking about buying a place in London. Invest in both as this is not our home and if anything was to happen it’s always good to have something to fall back on. ❤❤❤

I live for index funds. Can't get any more passive than that. The majority of our investments are in an s&p 500 and total stock market index fund.

I really appreciate the topics you bring to your audience, we learn so much. Just like you I started investing when I watched you and Dr Dari , I rewatched and subscribed to his channel. Thanks so much for being honest, cos unfortunately to say black people don't uplift themselves. That is why just like your mum,we have not be exposed to somethings amongst our own people. Sad sad. I support investing in real estate back home, because even when things are ok a foreign land will never be yours but home is always home. In case of anything you have something to fall back on home and start life homenif things were to go south here. Back home we run a silk saving group for women and it has been great so far

I do S&P 500, Vanguard and REITS. To learn my loss threshold, i tried some crypto and cannabis stocks (legal here in Canada)...i lost A LOT. So now, i only use 10% of my portfolio for trial and error stocks like cinema, banks, airways, and oil companies stocks.

Hi Nanelle yes S&P 500 I passive but also subject to total market risk and market risk cannot be eliminated through diversification as you think.
