PROBLEMS in Puerto Pollensa, Mallorca | May 2024 Update

Most importantly, I talk about the one issue that needs highlighting and even policing in Puerto Pollensa regarding cyclists in the resort centre and on the Pink Walk. So please take note of the signs (I admit they could be bigger!).

What a fantastic update Alex. Absolutely love the views of puerto pollenca. It’s a bit disappointing about the sun beds but I know you will be asking all about that for us. And I can’t comment on the cyclists or I would get banned 😂

Hey Alex, we can’t wait to be back in PP soon, and love your videos. It would be fab if you walked around the square when in PP next and some of the back streets to showcase the wonderful other bars and restaurants that are not on the front ❤

Thanks for the update :) We are back in July than I am sure the sun beds will be on the beaches. I am really against cyclists riding in the walking zone. You always have to be on the lookout and move out of their way which is wrong in my opinion.

Hi Alex,as a regular visitor of puerto pollensa i really appreciate your update videos ,will be so glad when i see the beach services up and running it does'nt feel like summer yet!! also your right about the cyclist they always cycle through the centre instead of walking we have seen the police tell them to get off there bikes but they still do it!! 🙄🤔

If they issue more taxi licenses , the taxi drivers will have less work in the off peak months. I Enjoy all your vids .Great vlog Alex👍🏻

Puerto Pollensa is my fav area in Majorca. I will be there in June! Not long to go now :)

Used to go to PP regularly but, got too expensive so now cruising instead 🛳️ maybe get back one day……Great vid 👍

Hi Alex, thank you for mentioning about the cyclists. We were there for the first ten days in May. There were hundreds of cyclist. In the town centre they would cycle thru in droves. We had to jump out of their way. Some were not careful at all. When crossing the road on crossings they would not stop for you to cross. It was quite dangerous. Cyclists seem to believe they are a law unto them selves. If there had been police in the area we would have complained

Could be bring your own deckchairs Alex , ... 😉 Joking apart, Puerto pollensa looked Idyllic and peaceful in May..... obviously my favourite resort , along with the pollensa old town, as I have said a few times now. Great informative video Alex, again thank you. 👍

Alex, you talked a lot about taxis but failed to warn people of the rogue drivers that constantly attempt to rip people off. As a warning to all….be SURE to get a quote/price for your journey up front! ….even pay them the said quote when you get in the cab!…. Watch out folks….you have been warned and advised.😊 Sunny holidays and good luck to everyone!✌️

Amazing. You would have thought given the money generated by sun beds etc they would be clamouring to provide the facilities. The world is going mad!

Still no sunbed as on the 16th June. At the moment no access to beach services , this would be really difficult if you have a disability. The pop up bars are missing…. The additional bits that make this beautiful bay a little more special. We are still charged the full tourist tax😊
