I think the rice, meat,egg and cucumber were meant to be combined.

As others have said, I’d assume that everything other than the soup would be condiments for the rice.

I don't think I could have eaten that, well esp the "egg" lol love your videos !!!!!

I'd squish the rice a bit while its in the pack before opening and pouring it out. That should fluff up the rice so it doesn't look clumpy.

Hello Nathan. Very cool. Tried several of these rations, just not this particular one, or one this new. Looks solid, and, typical of Asian rations. Some components, are different, agreed! Veggies, fruits, sides, always light, rice, noodles, always plenty. I like them . The FRH'S are nuclear, agreed. Glad you enjoyed most, and had some fun. Cool review as always. Glad to hear from you. Very interesting ration! If I recall correctly the Chinese troops are actually issued chopsticks. The spoon is essentially a back up in case they lost their chopsticks. The chopsticks are part of the mess kit they get issued, kinda similar to how the WWII US troops had stainless steel utensils as part of their mess kits, and the K ration came with a wooden spoon in the ration box as a backup. As to what their chopsticks are made of I’m not real sure. Probably plastic like the spoon is made of to cut down on production costs.

Pretty sure this is designed like the Canadian ready meals -- just a single easy to prepare field training meal, not really designed for combat. Its filling, but assumes you have a breakfast and dinner at the mess hall later.

Was watching another channel. They ate the dehydrated soup as a cracker in the MRE they were reviewing.

Mix the entire mre into that white box tray. Including the soup. Yup. Try it again plz :) but I know you won’t. Thanks anyways. Glad to see it.

The quail eggs don't look anything like they did in the last video I watched of this exact meal! Those were 3 small eggs and not mashed up.
