I was also a dog person and hated cats. But then got one and now love cats just as much as dogs. With that said, people describing cats as being “dog-like” has really become a pet peeve of mine. As if cats acting “cat-like” is a bad thing and that being more like a dog is somehow optimal. Both species are equally amazing.

I was never a cat person and took in a rescue kitten . He was just like this cat. Understood everything and adventurous . He wanted to play outside everyday, stand by the patio door looking at me then the door as if to say “open it please!!! “ I lost him, and I lost a part of me too.

I'm 70 years old and have had cats since I was 19, right now I have a 3 year old boy Shadow Eugene he's black with a white spot on his belly!! This lady and her boyfriend are good people!! And those goggles are so ADORABLE!! I think more people need to know that cats are as varied as people. Some are outdoorsy, some are homebody’s, some hate people, some will only love one person. But they all have personality and knives on their feet!!
