  • I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. My only complaint is that there should have been more screen time with Gorr. We should have had at least 1 or 2 more scenes of Gorr hunting and killings gods. The film didn't convey how much of a threat Gorr could be. The film needed those extra scenes with the villain.
  • He missed 2 parallels. First, when Thor was in the vault of eternity, him getting saved by a thrown mjolnir from Jane was just like in endgame when cap threw mjolnir to save him (both times almost getting stabbed thru chest). Second, instead of raising storm breaker like Thor does to summon the bifrost, Axel places it on the ground like a staff, just like how heimdall placed the sword in the slot of the machine bifrost.

I thought it would’ve been great to have Jane look down and see Silf’s arm in Valhalla!
    Jane: “Oh! What’s that?”
Heimdal: “I’m not quite sure, it just showed up! I guess the rest will be here soon.”
  • Something I noticed that was a little hidden was when axel/Astrid used Stormbreaker to activate the Bifrost. He hit the ground and turned it 90 degrees, imitating his dad and the Bifrost key/sword.
  • I think it's so sweet that Gorr's whole reasoning for becoming God Butcher is that a god failed to protect his daughter and therefore he thought Gods cannot be trusted to protect. At the end of the film be trusts a god (thor) to protect his daughter
  • I want Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston to play their respective roles in the MCU as long as they can. I feel like they were born to play these roles.
  • I love how miek actually wrote the entire movie on his whiteboard all the way to the very end and nobody noticed
  • @kdiutlwileng
Interesting that in phase 4 the villains are motivated by love (Mandarin, Wanda, Gorr) and all have a change of heart and decide to take a different path at the end of the movie.
  • I love how inanimate yet magical items can have personalities. First, Dr. Strange's cape in his first movie, and now Stormbreaker being jealous of Mjolnir.
  • That monochrome fight straight up looked like a comic book and I loved that they chose to linger instead of rushing through the fight like usual. .
  • @Oooose
If Steve Rogers visited Omnipotent City: "There's only one God, ma'am. And I'm pretty sure He doesn't dress like that."
  • @jordanmelven
That giant dead god with the back spikes is probably the most comics accurate character we’ve seen in an MCU movie yet. Eternity in this movie was pretty bang on, too. Their appearances were both directly lifted from the comics. I love it.
  • @Mongolbaabar
The fact that Jane deduces Stormbreaker’s importance to Gorr’s plot first and acts quickly was a nice moment
  • @Woosky117
I agree they really did pull off the eternity character design, especially if you watch it in 3D, as the entire silhouette is set further back in the 3D, really showing eternity like the void of space. Like the entire silhouette is just a doorway to the infinity of the universe. Fantastic!
  • @TroyNaumu808
i agree with others saying the movie was too short and needed more scenes with Gorr. i would of liked to see a cameo of Moon Knight defending the Egyptian pantheon from Gorr.
  • Taika had said that the stormbreaker's insecure behavior was because it was made of groot's hand who is an adolescent and so the arm is also an adolescent and is going thorugh mood swings
  • @Ryan_Perrin
I love that Gorr usually walks into the scene looking like he has a skull face, and then comes closer and you see a change in his face a bit, turning more "human"
  • @Megan-mf6du
I think what Jane whispered at the end was the “Love and Thunder” line Korg says at the very end
  • @liam4333
I think that at 35:26 the tree pattern that is created when Thor empowers the Asgardian kids is supposed to be the Tree of Life from Norse (and many other) mythologies. In Avengers Infinity War Thor mentions to Rocket that he can speak Groot. I had hoped that we were gonna find out that there was a backstory that connected Groot's ancestors to Asgard.
  • @chappelle23
The movie should have been 3 hours. They very well could have expanded on a few more things like Gorr’s backstory with his wife and people.
