  • @theovermatt
Damn how did I miss that Art of Attrition EP and Assemble the Chariots? What an absolute treat, thanks for the recommendation. Also, saw Vulvodynia open for Fallujah a few weeks ago and can confirm the new lineup absolutely smokes.
  • A Wake in Providence was a deep nugget that surprised me. Highly recommend checking it out. Symphonic death core that( not my top genre). Super well done , ton of atmosphere. Could be an AOTY dark horse.
  • @YONATOOTH
I also wanna add Duskwalker - Underground Forever. It’s fun death/thrash with some really solid riffs, excellent production and just a blast.
  • @user-vk3lk1zf3g
Summoning the Lich was the only band from the list I heard of because I saw them open for Gorod last year. Thanks for the list!
  • @kauffeemug

I loved the new Wormed, Vulvodynia, and Akhlys albums. Still need to check out the new Summoning the Lich, Krallice, Wormwitch, and Powerwolf albums since I’ve heard great things about them.
  • Void Witch is DEFINITELY my #1 of July and could potentially be of the year. They’re just fucking fantastic. Akhlys never disappoints!
  • I'm a longtime metal fan, I discovered the channel recently. I've got a ton of killer new or new to me old bands/albums to listen to from your videos. Just felt like I should let you know I appreciate what your doing.
  • I’ve heard some good things coming from Ahklys. Will check it out. Summoning the Lich sounds sick, honestly. I was impressed with the musicianship from their last album.
  • Akhlys and Wormed were definitely the showstoppers for me, both AOTY contenders. That Sounding album sounds incredible, I need to check them out. Also love the Longlegs endorsement. Lol. Awesome vid, keep up the great work!!
  • After listening to a few of these each a handful of times, my favorites are the ones from Void Witch ( I don't listen to a lot of Death-Doom but I really dig this album) Respire Summoning the Lich State Faults (I had never heard of this band before, but apparently their previous album was a big deal in the Screamo scene. If you like the Respire album, do yourself a favor.)
  • @FeroVlkolinsky
I completely missed Summoning The Lich release - thanks! I think the only one I miss listed here is Category 7 - Category 7. I just soooo love Bush's version of Anthrax.
  • @scosstard3542
Great list!!! Akhlys sounds indeed really gnarly and epic! I should check out Blind Girls it sounds awesome! For me the album of the month would be: Defacement - Duality
  • @Drochaigeant
Be sure to check out Laceration's "I Erode" that just dropped on the 26th. Good modern osdm, lotta skeletal remains vibes for sure.
  • @cowmark67

Devouring Void - Across the Eternal Nothingness (black metal) 7. Aspaarn - When Iron Meant Survival (raw black metal) 8. Obscene - Agony & Wounds (death metal/death-doom)
