    A (almost) fine quality pencil.

Boeing's first mistake really was acquiring McDonnell Douglas. It lead to much negative influence in the operations of the company, and I think that the discontinuation of the 757 was one of those. All of the corner-cutting, cost-saving, stock-increasing techniques were originally what McDonnell were known for. It's a shame.
  • Gotta love how they gave airbus so much room to grow by cancelling the 757 as the A321 literally only seats 19 less passengers than the 757.
  • @YonConreal
The pencil plane being discontinued just opened up airbus to take control of the market. This has been another good day.
  • @supsnail
Should've just kept the airframe and kept on modernising it like the 737 and 747 Well done a321xlr for fixing these mistakes...
  • @LevitationMaster
The 757 is criminally underrated imo everyone looks at the 747 and 737 but im still wishing it comes back as it’s definately my favourite

Hello everyone! In case you don't know, in Ice711's video of finding the exact places in your images, I created a story about Ice711 Airways and this is the continuation. Ice 711 airways started the 90's quite well, since that same year they got their first A320 airplanes, in total 210, these airplanes helped the airline A LOT, these airplanes also helped the regional and short flights, like their first route. and others like Ireland and Europe. That year the A330s did well since they were able to get more passengers than ever. Also, that same year the L1011s were significantly reduced, leaving the airline with only 8 of them. which were super used so that they last, on October 27, 1994 the 747 were also reduced to only 15, 5 of them cargo since that same year, Ice711 airways began its cargo airline with the 747, also, Ice 711 airways celebrated the new year of 1995 with its first Boeing 777-200 and 300, which began their route to the most important planes of Ice 711 Airways. In those years, the A321s also arrived in the Ice 711 airways fleet. On February 14, 1997, Ice711 greatly reduced the 737s, leaving only 98, leaving 20 of them 737-400s, something that would cost him in the future. The same airline on December 1, 1997 completely reduced the DC-10s since it wanted to avoid any incidents, as we already know. On December 8 of that same year, Ice 711 airways sponsored Star Alliance with 2 767 aircraft painted in a very professional and fascinating way according to various media. On August 25, 1999, Ice 711 purchased some very high-end 737-800s, replacing most of the remaining 737-400s, leaving only 5 of them. Finally, it ended that decade with 416 aircraft, 201 of the A320 family, 115, 23 of the 757s, 15 of the 767s, 15 of the 747s, 20 of the A330s and 20 777 aircraft, 3 of them cargo. At the beginning of the 2000s, the opposite of what happened in the 90s happened, since in those years, instead of improving and being the decade that had the best Ice 711 airways, it was the worst of all, since it began with a lawsuit for a landing so strong that it could cause minor injuries to passengers, which lowered its world rating, then on May 6 of that same year, Ice711 airways had its second accident of a 767, ending the lives of 43 people out of 105 on board. That left the airline on the brink of bankruptcy, leaving it with the possibility of fading like other airlines like Braniff or Pan Am, due to its problems, Ice711 airways had to cancel 45% of its flights,This left it 3 cents away from ceasing to exist. From 2000 to 2003 were the worst years for Ice 711 airways. In 2004 its fleet had 21 Boeing 747 cargo planes, so on January 15, 2004 officially the 747 commercial flights of this airline were closed, in 2005 the flights of the L1011 and the 757 were also closed, but not everything was bad , since by selling these airplanes they were recovered. and on September 29, 2006 it obtained its first 77-300ER, on October 12, 2007 the EXPRESS version of Ice 711 airways was created for domestic and regional flights with Embraer 145 and 175 aircraft, after that, nothing else happened in that terrible decade which ended with 329 A320 and 21, A330, 767, 747, 777 and cargo planes ended with 777 and 747. Like for part 3 50 specifically
  • @MagmaVRlol
I think the 797 should be a more "advanced" version of the 757
  • I love how you actually provide a reason and that makes me agree, not like those people saying “bRinG baCk thE 747 iTS sO IcONic”
  • @SonicIsCool1992
Thanks to the retirement of the 757, the a321xlr is going to come out and further defeat the troubled 737. Props to Iceland and delta making the best liveries for them
  • @jakubchloe3394
In boeing's defence 2:47 The 737NG was a good investment. However the 757 should've stayed in production, atleast like the 767, as cargo only. But i guess you cant see the future.
  • @Rcdude2007
A perfect era came to a end when the 757 got discontinued. Get rid of the 737 max jets they suck and make a 757 max. I agree with you on that one Ice711 the goat
  • @wingeditz41
I’m liking all these informative videos, you put a lot of effort! Nice vid! ❤
  • @xgamerz5316
All i can remember seeing an United B757 is...... 911 💀💀💀 Edit: My man is dedicated to heart every comment ❤
  • @mayortyranno4645
I think that the 757 definitely should of been continued. Just like someone else said, it should of kept being modernised like the 737 and 747. I don't think it would need to be the 757 MAX, but more of the 757 Next Gen
  • @electro_sykes
They could easily turn the 757 into a 757 max or something. Some of the issues affecting the 737 Max is they are trying to stretch out new variants to replace the 757, straining the airframe to be what it is not. They don’t need a clean sheet 797, just an updated 757 with new engines and advanced upgrades. Maybe call it 757-X though and have it as the X-8 to replace the 757 200 and X-9 to replace the 300
