So ever wondered what it's actually like to own a self serve car wash?Watching this video will give you a great idea and an inside look into the day to day operations of a self serve car wash.

From sweeping up, emptying trash bins, fixing equipment and collecting money its all part of the business. But at the end of the day car washes are there to provide great cashflow from an all cash business with credit cards as well and provide passive income earning money 24/7 with very little work.

Check out all my other videos on the self serve car wash business and if your're interested in getting into this great business feel free to message me on Instagram.

After working for my Uncle for 2 years at he's car washes I really wanted my own and I came across this car wash. It was completely shutdown for many years so I approached the owner of the land and made a deal with him.

It took me 6 weeks to bring it back to life and open it and now the customers are starting to pour in. Not to mention I opened it during winter so I am yet. to see its full potential but here's a small taste of how its going so far!

Put a sign up. "Please be considerate to other customers and place any litter inside the trash can located at the end of the bay."

I'm an electrician in California. With your mechanical room full of pressurized water lines you need a cover on your electrical distribution panel. Trust me bro that can get ugly. You work hard for your business and you don't want things to go sideways in that room. That can be very expensive. Of course, my comment is months later so you may have already fixed that. But just in case you haven't, please get a cover on that panel. Love your videos.

You should get one of those alarms that texts you or sends you a notification if the door gets opened. That way if someone manages to get that bar open.

Interesting viewing thanks for that. A few tips, get a giant gorrilla brush for sweeping the bays, so much quicker when the broom is 2ft wide. Put large plastic rubbish bags inside the trash bins, then you just lift the bag, tie it up neatly and sling it. No need for workers to unchain and lift all the bins and tip them, health and safety. The big bin will also be tidier too.

Hey man great vid mean no offense here but have you ever considered keeping a couple pieces of plywood maybe with you or your worker just because jumping on top of a trash container to push it down can be really dangerous. You never know if some junkie on the street threw needles in there or other things that can harm you. If you put a piece of plywood sheet on top and jump down on that it is at least a bit safer with less chance to touch the stuff below.
  • Great content, the wife and I myself stepped into the car wash world late this past summer here in Northern Indiana. This video mirrors our typical day at the car wash. Have had some had lessons to learn from all the foam brushes stopping to the wepe system (used in freezing weather here) not working properly. So far far nothing major. Love your videos, keep them coming.

šŸ˜Æ you have a Air Dryer and a Foam cannon in the regular wash bay!!!? I've never seen that before. I would be there everyday.
  • @lreebrown
Thanks for posting this great content!!! Question to ask. Do you keep a google sheet of money coming in / money spent on equipment and what nots into the car wash?
  • @jakehocker5592
Hey, good video as always! I was wondering how your draining system works? I live in California so they are very strict about water reclamation.

  • I saw that CVS Pharmacy next to that Jackā€™s. I recognize imthise two things from videos by Furious Pete and Alex Mandell about motorized couches.
  • @mt8933
That the first car wash that I saw that had a blower in each stall very impressive šŸ‘
  • @syedali8005
Maybe a leaf blower would help you clean faster?
