Today I'm doing some fly fishing for Rainbow Trout with a simple, yet INCREDIBLY effective, fly that I tie! This fly works extremely well during the salmon runs in Alaska (or anywhere that salmon run), but it also does amazingly in streams where salmon don't run!

    This is great info to have, I do a lot of brook trout fishing here in Maine but my gf and I are moving to Alaska so I’m starting to do alittle research on trout fishing in AK! I’m really hopping to land a king on a fly! 😅
