Merlin is one splendid fellow, very much like his dad.
  • My goodness, he really looks like his dad! What a charming handsome young man! As a Scandinavian myself living in England, I think it’s fair to say that we have the most educational talk shows in the world. I think this type of interview would be lost if shown to the wrong audience. Fredrik Skavlan is such a wonderful, humble and measured gentleman. He is genuinely interested in the subjects that his guests present. It’s nice.
  • This man has a really appropriate name - his discussions are always magic.
  • This is something unique about Merlin. I never heard him repeat a line in any of his responses. A lot of people (including me) do it to just emphasise their point. I find that very interesting!!
  • merlin and rupert: two sheldrakes to change the world. a great family.
  • Such an interesting guest and topic. I’m a senior citizen who just recently discovered your site and I’m enjoying your choice of guests so much. I’m going to begin researching your past guests and I’m certain it will be an enjoyable experience.

Mushrooms only gave me realizations that faded when I came down. Our minds are not ours. We have a spectrum that we tap into on the collective consciousness
  • He is so much like his father! it's really beautiful to see, the same kind of intelligence, skill of communication, sympathy and handsomeness. I remember his father especially from the discussions with Krishnanurti, Bohm and others. Beautiful, profound man. He has clearly also been a fantastic father.

  • Having lived in Norway for years (speak the language too), I really enjoy this show, the variety of guests, Skavlan. Tusen takk!

What a brilliant communicator Merlin is. I could listen to him all day. Like father, like son. ❤

I really felt years younger than him, it must be his ability to have a really interesting conversation. 💚

Merlin is amazing. We are lucky to have such a brilliant mind helping us understand the natural world’s secrets 💎

could listen to him all day, then again he reminds me of hermes....the last joke oh my, he is clever.... i wonder what they were thinking about all this. i loved the way he connects everything from the science of fungi to the life lessesnt and prerpectives. to know they existed so long before us make me even more curious about how humanity started and were we are all from years ago. id love to know what Merlin thinks of that if hes ever on again <3

I can only repeat what the person (mister jib) directly below me in the comments section says: "Merlin is one splendid fellow, very much like his dad". This family---Rupert, Merlin, etc---are a marvel of humankind...and the "kind" part of it also seems apt, as in "kind to the world", and " kind to new ideas"!
