Such a well-written poem! Granny has that look and twinkle in her eye that says 'I'm up-to-no-good' and 'I'm old so I'll get away with anything' 😂

Ooh, it's like my late grandma has come back to life. She made my parent's life a misery in her final years. Got banned from a respite home and tried to escape another by smashing the door through with a fire extinguisher. Will have to play this for my dad.

Granny should consider a move to Germany! 1. Harder for annoying relatives to visit 2. Skinny dipping in lakes is approved of, not censured 3. I’ll bet the staff wouldn’t bat an eye at her alcohol intake. In a hospital a few years ago, and there was beer in the vending machine in the lobby. Asked to the doc about it, and he chuckled and said, ‘You can’t separate a Bavarian from their beer!’

Love this sketch. Shame on them for blaming such a sweet old lady. Mother told us she'd only nicked the car to get to Mass. Mind you, she was in that confessional a long time. Our Priest has never been the same since. Seriously though, MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU ALL! Thanks for the laughs 😂😂😂

I've spent the last week trying to decide my favourite sketch of 2023 and there it is! Absolutely brilliant parody, narrative and characterisation. Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night.

I really enjoy the character of Granny, Even if her behaviour can be somewhat uncanny. I'm impressed you could make all those sentences rhyme, Without them seeming like they're forced or contrived. Although most of my days feel like a slog, You always make my Thursdays better, Foil Arms & Hog.

From the slight slip of the hand pouring a drink at the start to the disingenuous tuts of remorse, this has to be up there with the best Granny sketches of all time! Merry Christmas and thank you for all the laughs 🎄❤️

Glad to see Gran has new pearl beads. She has never worn them before. Guess it is her gift for the previous Christmas. In other words, Costume Department rules. 🤘
