He’s long overdue for his Kennedy center honors and AFI Life Achievement Award for his contributions to motion pictures and the culture for decades P.S. he recieved the mark twain prize award for comedy in 2015 from the Kennedy center in Washington DC. But the Kennedy center honors and mark Twain prize are completely different lifetime achievement awards
