I used to drive my son to school on my bike, both of us singing this song in our imperfect English. I remember thinking, please God, make this moment last for ever.

My husband died 3 weeks ago in a car accident. This was one of the songs included in our wedding video. I miss him terribly.
  • As a kid. My dad woke me up to this every morning. He passed away a few weeks ago. I can barely get through the whole song. It brings such peace love and pain to my heart. I love you forever dad.

As a young farm boy back in 1959, I recall sitting with my soon to be wife, the love of my life, and watching the wheat wave in the breeze as we dreamed of our future. I lost her to cancer in 1996. This song always brings a tear to my eye. Beautiful bright brown eyes with dark, soft, long hair and very intelligent lady. So dearly missed and so lovingly remembered. Love this song.

The older you get the more you appreciate this song.

A volunteer guitarist at a hospital was playing this song outside our room when our son was born.

Paul McCartney once said this was the song he wished he had written. Achingly beautiful.
  • My brother died on Friday. He loved sting. Stings words.. "you'll remember me" Thats enough. I'll play it at his funeral and keep his spirit with me forever.

This is not a song. It is a moment in time that last forever.

Does anyone ever have that feeling of hearing just such a great song that it makes them just have a tingly feeling inside? Like it sorta feels like crying, except you aren't? That's what this song makes me feel.

I‘m a 24 old, Not Many at my Age know and listen to this song, I can‘t describe what this song means to me, sometimes I can‘t handle that much beautiness and tears come into my eyes. I Love this Song - this era of music seems so emotional to me. Must have been a stunning time to be young. Thank you Sting for this masterpiece.

This song brings tears to my eyes. My wife had cancer and listened to this song all the time coz our daughter sang it for her. She’s now 16 years in remission and I thank the lord, my life could have been so different having to bring our daughter up by myself. They are extremely close now. ❤️❤️
