Im glad we are returning to the Gods, albeit briefly. Shamanism and Norse Paganism aren't wholly disconnected. And to answer your question I also feel Odin in the third eye. I feel Bragi in my chest when I play music and sing. I feel Freyja and Freyr in my heart when Im having quiet peaceful moments. I feel Thor in my mind when I need reassurance. Before this video I never really paid any mind to where the sensations physically took place
  • For someone who survived Christianity (not kidding ex JW), I am grateful that you have taken the care and time to provide this for the Yggdrasil Kindred here on Eriu Thank you for your video ❤, please don’t stop!!! I always feel all of them deep in my heart. Odin mind… and heart
  • Aside from my previous comment I’d like to mention, Jacob, dude you’re looking great. I’m so happy that you’re on this journey and happy to see you in this great spot in your life. You are truly an inspiration to me.

Jörð was also pronounced "yurth", the 'th' voiced like in 'the', and is where the word 'earth' ("urth") comes from in English. This is also one of the potential origins of the word 'Lord' apparently.
  • I'm not norse Pagan. But as a Pagan I have always felt a connection to the feminine Earth. I call her Earth Mother, and she is the main deity I feel a connection to. Apart from spirits of certain spaces. This video helps me connect the dots even more. Thanks!

I feel Týr as an arm around my shoulders. He is like a protective older brother guiding me down the right path while shielding me from harm but also encouraging me to have the confidence to fight for what I feel is right.

Enjoyed hearing you talk a Jord. She’s been a goddess that I’ve felt connected to since the beginning. You don’t hear a lot of people talk about her though.
  • @walkingthewyrd
I feel Frigg at the hearth of my home, Brigid by streams and springs, Freya in my heart space, and I see Elen of The Ways fleeting in my peripheral vision, guiding me on my walks. You look really well, Jacob! I'm really enjoying being witness to the evolution of your spiritual journey! Be well!

I have been ill for the past 12 years but your channel and all your vlogs have given me inspiration, motivation and hope. I have felt a real connection with the way you explain things and how you portray such a beautiful religion. I have been enlightened by your voice and I always feel much better and calm after watching your videos. Thank you for shining a torch of light in the darkness of this world. ❤❤❤❤❤

I can't really explain where I feel them within me per se.. however, when I am nearest the ocean.. there is this feeling.. almost as if a heartbeat.. strong but gentle.. I always know that I can go and put my bare feet in the sand, listen to the waves crashing, the songs of the birds.. and when I speak my feelings, cry, scream, laugh, whatever I have going on within me, I am seen, and heard. I wish I could explain it more than that, but its been that way since I was a young child.

Whenever I’m having a spiritual connection or experience, it’s like it fills and warms my lungs. I got very sick as a child one winter day and eventually got diagnosed with Sports Asthma, I’ve been dealing with it for as all as I can remember so having a positive experience with my lungs is nothing short of amazing

I feel the gods as a presence that surrounds me. It's holistic and feels like a warm, comforting embrace of my entire being. It's very peaceful and grounding.
  • Ahhhh. Perfect timing. I've been diving into the Norse and Celtic pantheons because of my lineage and a dance research project for which I got a grant. I'm having the other side of the appreciation - tuning into Odin's wisdom and the sacred masculine. Much more to say about all of it but Jord is my body, all of it. Odin is my fire and my will. Thank you!

I'm so glad you've made this video because Jord is one of the first deities I connected to on my journey. I for many years have worked with the earth in my gardens and creating relationships with my plants and using my plants beneficial properties in medicines. I feel closest to Jord when I am working in my garden and when I am out in nature. To me, Odin is there as a father figure presence, and I feel him most at times when I need to be strong. Looking forward to your upcoming videos! It is inspiring to see you develop and grow along your own spiritual path.
  • Jacob you are looking absolutely fantastic! I don't think we have to be Norse Pagan OR a Shaman OR a Spiritualist. I think we can be spiritualists and pagans and practice shamanism all at the same time! Each feeds a different part of our existence. I am all for the path you are traveling, and when it comes down to it, even as leaders, we have to care, feed, and nurture our Spirits and be true to ourselves. Jord/Gaia is EXTREMELY important to me, and my practice...as are the Landvaettir and Husvaettir and my ancestors. Jord nurtures us and gives us all we need to survive in this world. Odin gives us the Wisdom we ask for. Thor protects his mother, and us! It's very much a "as above, so below" thing. We in turn nurture, protect and give wisdom to our children and others. The Spiritual connection...the healing qualities...our connection to the past and our ancestors...it's all connected!!! It's hard to put into words...but I feel this so deeply!!! Thanks for this great video!

I am new to norse paganism, and yesterday I gave freyja an offering, and I felt her in my chest. Not necessarily in my heart, but in the general vicinity of my chest. It felt warm and strong.
  • @nova8091
Dude I haven’t watched you in like a year you look fucking fantastic man I’m happy for ya

I feel the Gods in my breath when I speak or sing, I feel them in my skin when I channel energy, I feel them in my mind when I meditate and pray, I feel them in my feet when I am walking in nature guiding me to a sacred place. I feel them in my hands when I create art dedicated to them. 🥰🌿💚🌱
