  • There was much great music in the 90s beyond Grunge. Like every decade, it all depends on how adventurous and curious the listener is. Oh, and how much time they have to dedicate to listen to music. South America is a huge place I've never had the opportunity to visit. I'm not sure I'd go there to chase down records though!

I found this fascinating, I was married to a Colombian who I met in London UK and first went there in 1980, to Cali Colombia, remember going to clubs and party’s hearing all this incredible music. Cumbia, Salsa etc. I did buy a number of albums, mostly popular local albums of various local bands. Yes Argentina have many record shops, people love English rock music there! Also Medellin Colombia local people love heavy rock! When I get in a taxi in Medellin the driver would have Black Sabbath on his music system for example. I can relate to this gentleman as I am 71 and music was/is a very important part of my life! I was in Montreal once in 1974, I liked the city, I remember being at a music event in a local university and the place was full of young people from all over the world, can’t remember much else, but it was fun to be there!
  • Just subscribed and enjoying your streams. Am going to Paris soon, have you done a video on vinyl stores in Paris? If not, are there any that you would recommend? Thanks and started going through your you tube video inventory. Thx.
