Hi Shawn Boonstra, As child growing up there was one part of history I hated learning about and went out of my way not retain Those History lesson's. I'm African American and so whenever my class studied The 1700s followed by The American Revolution, The Signing of The Declaration of Independence. I just saw that Period of American History as Hypocrisy. How could any of them compare their struggle of any kind too that of being Slave's? When African's were the one's placed in Cage's at Slave Market's too be auctioned off to whomever chooses to buy em matter of fact Wall Street The Financial District got started because they auctions Slaves off down there which is how it came too be known as Well Street and so for their Indigo Plantation's/ Tobacco Plantation's/Cotton/Rice/& yes this is true Cod Fishing found out about that one in American History A when I was enjoying college but by then I had outgrown my resentment on the 1700s. So yes I hated learning about what transpired in the 1700s all those signers of The Declaration of Independence they themselves owned Slave's, some owned Indigenous People and African's off Slave Ship's (Indigenous People's who were, Here before Columbus, arrival). I did know Marques De Lafayette was an Abolitionist too African Slavery He supposedly said in order for America to be the great country it intends too be; they should do away with it's peculiar institution of Slavery (I liked Him A lot for saying those word's) who came over from France too assist Us in the American Revolution. God want's His children too learn from the Historical Triumph's and Infamy and too be blunt Pastor Boonstra our Triumph's and Infamy goes Hand in hand at time's there's literally no avoiding that factor. It turns out I had this extreme phobia pertaining too Reading about Revelation. I absolutely would not go anywhere near The Biblical Book no matter how often I read My Bible. Too be honest I stopped reading Daniel after The Prophet was delivered from The Lion's Den. As a song that was sung by demonstrators in The Civil Right's Movement 🎶 🎶 I am on The Battlefield for My Lord 🎶 🎶 and I promise him that I am gonna serve him till I die, I am on the Battlefield for My Lord 🎶 🎶 listen. Well when one is in The Army of The Lord best be prepared for The Almighty sending you marching orders. I attended twice now I tune in and watch whenever Daniel & Revelation Prophecy Seminars are broadcast, when I was 14 and 15 year's old. An both seminars hosted by Pastor Mark A. Finley. I now understand in order too get Revelation one needs a Really, Really Good Bible Teacher because The Wrong one will chase people away from The Book. Not only can I Read Revelation but, I can listen too Revelation on Audio Tape (that's how bad my phobia was with Revelation). An so learning about Prophecies within Daniel and how The 1700s was a Biblical Fullfilment I went back too The Drawing board and gained a Fresh interest in the 1700s because I could see that Era with New Eye's. I can't tell you that all my Resentment went away at once a bit did linger but, I was seeing the hand of God at work even through the Nightmare Horror of the Slave Ship's sailing into The New World with fresh human being's too sale on those auction block's. Thanks too The Prophecies in Daniel & Revelation I could let go and just Study this History of America. Along the way I learned of The King Ahab conspiracy against Naboth and The Vineyard. So I'm using this biblical lesson too make a point I actually had sympathy for a group of People. The Shay's Rebellion not so much for The Whiskey Rebellion. Shays Rebellion took place because Wealthy Mercantile who lived in Boston, MA who had more than enough of money in their pockets didn't want too pay the Debt's incurred from the American Revolutionary War. So they began stealing the land of the little farmer selling the property and paying off the Debts that way and they bribed people in high places to keep this theft of farmers land up. Now the little farmer themselves they had fought in American Revolutionary War and they came home and found they had no home too return too. Now in all fairness this Uprising was initiated by Another man name Daniel, but somehow it became known as Shay's Rebellion. It was in the aftermath of this Shay's Rebellion again another man Named Daniel (no not the prophet Daniel) actually started this Uprising motivated The Forefather's too draw up The U.S. Constitution for awhile we used the Articles of Confederacy? Then we added The Bill of Right's dealing with Federal and State. This is also where the origins of Federal vs. Anti-Federal began. An still how is it this fell in with Daniel and Revelation? Revelation chapter 13. A Second Beast coming up from the land looking like a Lamb with two horns 🐃? Democrat--Republican. Mind--blowing for Me, and then joining The Adventist's family when i was 7 year's old along with my mom and come too find out the History of William Miller/William Foye/The Great Disappointment/Sister Ellen G. White and The Great Disappointment how that led too The Founding of The Adventist Church ⛪. Amazing how on point The Word of God was on.
