The snails in hermitcraft just cause chaos? But, there's like a cyan snail for Grian and a pink one for Gem, since they were chosen by a specific snail. They're supposed to spread around the whole server

So for the Doc one, he made a huge redstone tunnel bore to mine out under his base. Scar and Grian went to look at it and accidentally blew it up (really, you can hear the panic in their voices!). They unknowingly double clicked the button, one right after the other, which stalled the TNT and blew it all up. They felt horrible and made a pile of gifts and spelled out “we are sorry” from all the left over pieces. This started w whole war of course 😂

30:48 The snails are from Grian and they basically cause mischief around the server and it started off with an aqua snail that Grian made. Then, it started to eat Gem’s lighthouse so she had to keep giving the snail back to Grian. She asked Grian how to get one and a few days later one appeared at the top of her hill and it was a pink snail. Now they both have snails and they are messing with Scar’s clown train BASICALLY, you have to be chosen by a snail to get one. The pink one in the animation chose Gem :D extra; scar has a bunch of little brown snails around his train because there was a train car with a giant snail that the pink and aqua snail “built”. and then it exploded into many little ones lol

I love how Jimmy obviously doesn't completely understand the Mumbo/Grian dynamic at first while reacting to the "From puns to failed" animatic; I LAUGHED SO HARD! You have to get it to get it. 😆

as a small animator (i dont post on yt) i feel so appreciated when jimmy appreciates the fandom

Snail story: Grian got excited when he finally got an assortment of blue blocks and could copy a design he found online to build a snail. He then, off camera, would place the snail around the server to terrorize his neighbors, starting with gem. He would casually point out on his episodes, "Look at that sneaky snail! He really likes gems lighthouse" as if they had a mind of their own. As much as gem didn't like the damage to her builds, she loved the snail so much she wanted one herself so she became "chosen"
