Never flaunt your wealth in front of people that don't have it. *Not only is it cruel, but it breeds resentment.* 5. Spend your money wisely. A lot of these people, especially today's winners, win enough money for several life-times. 6. Negotiate your real estate purchases. Never pay the listed price! *Homes, here in California, are insanely high. If they're asking $1M, its likely worth $400k, start there and set a threshold. Tell yourself you won't bid more than X for the house.*
