watching all those little hotdogs bounce towards the calm waves made me cry with both joy and laughter

The responsibility level of these caretakers to ensure she remains wild, that she develops normal wild animal responses, just really makes me appreciate their work. It's probably hard to resist befriending cute animals, but what they did was the right thing. EDIT: just came back to this, 5.8K likes, I don't actually have a thing about likes, but what I do find fascinating is that this specific point struck a chord I guess. I did not know so many people had similar thoughts on this, I appreciate that.

Seeing Lli Pika go from a scared baby, suckling on the glass and wetsuit missing her mother, to a feisty barking, tummy slapping diva and finally a strong independent WILD seal free and healthy in her habitat <3 I hope she's now had pups of her own and is living her best life.

I love that the four released into the wild hung around the shallows playing with each other and just enjoying the sea vibes for a while before peacing out.
-
Aww a chonky seal always makes people’s day
-
I love that they were released together as a group of 4, instead of individually at different times. At least without their family, they still have 3 friends to stay together. Hope this increases their chance of survival at the start.

She’s the real life emoji of 🥺

5:04 that look the seal gave to his friend just before entering the water, "You ready? Let's go!"😯 🥰😯

I had no idea that the population of common seals in Ireland was as low as 3,000–4,000. They are such beautiful creatures.
-
Perfect, they aren’t trying to tame them but they are taking care of them. Teaching them exactly how they need to act outside of “rehab”. Seriously well done.
-
The way she bounced out of the cage on her belly was the cutest thing ever.

“Ili Pika is showing signs of becoming competitive” Ili Pika: calmly naps under a waterfall

It takes a will of iron to handle these animals every day and resist the temptation to pamper them like cute sea puppies. They need to be hardened predators to survive, they are just coincidentally adorable to us.
-
It got me in the feels at the end seeing them swim freely in the ocean together.
-
If i ever saw a little animal crying because they miss their mom and i can't do anything about it I'd literally start crying.
-
I think it's precious that the released seals stuck together as a group and not a single one ran off by itself. They all wanted to stay together! ♥
-
So good that no one tried to correct her feistiness. She had the will and the spirit. And I am sure she is thriving.
-
They have the most beautiful eyes. I don't know how anyone could look into those eyes and still kill it.
-
I love the way lil pika try to slap the brush, it's so cute... 2:12

I'm a full grown man, and when I saw that rubber toy, act as a mom, it broke my heart! I cannot beleive this! I understand why they did it and I'm glad they did it.. but that sight was extremely sad to watch!😪
