Cypberpunk 2077 has changed immensely since the implementation of Update 2.0, completely changing entire mechanics and game systems, while making the game far more stable on console versions. 🤔🤔🤔

Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 has changed the game, but is Cyberpunk 2077 fixed yet?

This video aims to show my first impressions of the Cyberpunk 2077 2.0 update. Here I try to go over everything as efficiently as possible. No matter which side of the camp you fall on, fixed or not, the game has come a long way from what it used to be. Gone is the old damage and gunplay system, replaced with a much smoothers experience, better skill tree progression, and much better graphical stability. Cyberpunk 2077 is going to enjoy a long and extensive redemption arc as a result, with people once again interested and searching for the game.

I feel like the reworked crafting system is a little better than before 2.0, because before 2.0 you needed a bunch of tech tree perks to craft weapons and such. but I enjoyed how they changed it, because no i don't need to spec into tech to have to craft and such. also the weapon upgrade system feels a lot better now. Though I wanted to bring up that i didn't really run into many bugs on launch i can certainly understand why that was definitely pretty bad. But as someone who was there, seeing how many people execs and fans alike that had almost forced cdpr to release it in the state it was, makes me think that if they had another year it would probably have been released as it is now. Though i have close to 700 hours in the game so i might be a little biased. imho, cyberpunk for me has always been a story game, i didn't necessarily care about graphics or how the world felt, because for me it was about the characters in the world and how you/v affect them and how they in turn can affect you.

Not as bad as 3 years ago, but still far from fixed, I had plenty of glitches including game breaking bugs.... Perhaps they'll finally fix it in 2077 😀

The problem isn't usually the developers, but the investors and publisher, the people on top making executive decisions, the people actually trying to work on those projects are forced to rush things, (and at times it's their own fault, seldomly so however at times it is, if they're passionate about certain aspects of what they do, and very detail oriented with specific things they're trying to craft, getting carried away nit-picking certain things), and often times, there's multiple different teams working on different parts of a game, at times even from different regions of the world, making things even more chaotic with certain studios.

so i have played cp 2.0 and pl for about 70 hours now. I played it about 50 hours in previous versions. I have noticed some bugs in 2.0 but tbh i feel like the game should have some minor bugs due to it feeling normal from previous versions. I havnt had so much fun playing video games in a while an really enjoyed all the new stuff. I think releasing unfinished videogames will morph into more AAA games being public at beta/early access. It kind of makes sense if you think about it. devs have funds to work with and get loads of feedback from the players, investors see if the game goes well, players arnt scammed in thinking its a finished game and can have an impact on the developement. the only issue i see is that a effective marketing campaign is difficult to make since the game is not finished. this can lead to an increase in the difficulty of generating hype around the game. imo if a game is good then people will play it and if its bad then only marketing and an in game shop can keep it from drowning. I really hope everyone give cp another chance, it realy is worth it now.

The gaming community doesn’t forget tho, we just can forgive if they make it worth our while. Yes the game is good now and people are playing it again but the overall public consensus outside of people who are deep into gaming is that the game is bad and broken so I doubt this sets a new precedent. Same thing with no man’s sky, we ALL remember how fucked that game was and it’s image and player count has never gotten to the heights it could’ve if the game on release was better

Love the game and graphics is superb but I hate the fact that they still can’t fix 8 bit pixel NPcs and vehicles from a far distance. Since release and its still not fixed 😂
  • Does no one care about how the ai is absolute trash now? i mean it was never good but i feel like NOW is an absolute joke. Police shooting you because they saw u move ur car to the sidewalk. Or when (before 2.0) u could help the police bringing down bandits and similars, now once u finish the bad guys (and even while that happens) they also just start shooting you out of nowhere... Today i saw a police car just spinning in circles and eventually exploding, while the rest of the cops just watch it happen 2 mts away from some criminals shooting everything. I wont even mention pedestrians, thats something i can live with...
