Honestly, I’m glad the Rangers advanced to the ALCS. Nothing against the Orioles, but the Rangers have never won a World Series before, and, even though I’m a Mets fan, one of the teams I’m hoping that wins this year’s World Series is the Rangers.

Sweeps are the worst. This will serve those young Baltimore players well in the future the next time they get back to the postseason though. I think they will fare better next time if the can get back

Now that I think about it, I feel like this was a “what if the opposite happened” version of the 2015 mlb playoffs happened, but with different teams in terms of the AL Playoff bracket 2015: Rangers won AL West and lost to the Blue Jays in 5 (AL EAST BIRD TEAM) after going 2-0 Astros beat the Yankees (ALSO AL EAST AND AT HOME) lose to the Royals (AL CENTRAL) in 5 at Kaufman 2023: Rangers beat the Rays (AL EAST) AT TROPICANA, Swept Baltimore (AL EAST BIRD TEAM AND AL EAST CHAMPS) Houston won the AL WEST and beat the twins (AL CENTRAL WINNERS) at Target field 2015: blue jays vs Royals (KC WON IN 6) 2023: Astros vs Rangers (TEX WON IN 7) Both teams who beat Houston in those years in the playoffs ended up going to AND WON THE WORLD SERIES ALSO: both years the team who won the AL WEST won it on the last day of the season, 2015: Astros lost the the diamondbacks 5-3 in the season finale and lost the division to Texas who rallied and won against LAA 2-0, And won the 3rd seed while Houston got the 5th Seed 2015: RANGERS LOST THE FINALE AGAINST THE MARINERS 1-0 while the Astros WON to guess who, DIAMONDBACKS 8-1, ultimately winning the division AND THE 2nd Seed while the Rangers had to go through the Wild card…AS THE 5TH SEED!!!!!
