Here's a tip for pealing the corms: submerge them in water for a couple of hours. The skin gets really soggy and easy to peal with just a fingernail. That way you dont damage them as much.

I had never thought of peeling the corms.... 🤔 I will certainly doing that from now on! I'm in the U.S., so when I have my morning coffee, I sit and watch your videos. 😊

Your demonstration of peeling corms is enlightening. Thanks Jan for sharing your Alocasia process from corms to seedling!

I’ve had a corm sitting there for nearly three weeks and nothing, so I’ve just peeled it after watching your vid. Because it’s been sitting there in a moist environment the skin came off easily with my fingernail . Fingers crossed it’s all systems go now 🙂
  • @moniousova
I'm not lazy, I like to live on the edge! 🤣
  • You’ve got me hooked now! I have one little Thai Con and hopefully a Crème Brulle tomorrow! (If that’s even a ‘thing’). I’ve got potting mix ingredients literally EVERYWHERE and can’t wait to start making my first moss poles!!! ….I’m even selling furniture to make room for my plants!!! 😃
  • Yay!!! Were making babies!!! Most people don't know that plants lay eggs. 😊
