I can't imagine Wei Wuxian without Xiao Zhan❤

Can't imagine Wei Wuxian if it's not Xiao Zhan
  • @NuitnoireAsmr
No one will ever succeed what Zhan and Yibo did for the untamed. It’s not even up for discussion 😌🙂‍↔️👑👑

Yang Mi as Bai Fengxi - ugh nope. She’s too stiff. Xiao Zhan is the one n only Wei Wuxian n no one can tell me otherwise 💚💚
  • I have been in the MDZS rabbit hole for 4 yrs now and I tell you, no one, I mean no one could’ve done Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji better than Yibo and Xiao Zhan. This is the hill I will die upon

if xiao zhan was not in untamed I can't like it how I like or obsessed it with now I know story of untamed is awesome but how xiao zhan present the character is something else
  • @sparkleknows
I can't imagine anyone but Wu Jinyan as Wei Yingluo, honestly.

The producer of untamed denied offering this roles to anybody. Xiao Zhan and Yibo were their first and only option.
  • xiao zhan and wu lei nailed their roles. That dude initially considered for the long ballad looks like a side character. How can dilraba fall for guy that mid? lol
  • It’s funny how the guy doubt whether the untamed storyline is good or not when the untamed has a huge fan base even before the drama air. He should do more research before decided not to take the role. Anyway, I am glad it’s not him who take the role. I can’t imagine him as WWX.
  • Bai Lu will always be one of my favourite actresses. Especially in historical dramas ❤❤❤

Tantai Jin couldn't have been played by anyone except LYX. His demeanor, tormented character, and chemistry with Bai Lu is unrivaled. TTEOM imo wouldn't have been as successful if GJ had played the role. The Legend of Anle had great expectations too, but unfortunately the script and production fell flat. YY's rejection of some key roles is also interesting. WRTW also became a better hit due to Zhao Lu Si. The Long Ballad's Ashile Sun was also exceptional because of Leo Wu and I can't imagine another actor in that role.

I think it was meant to be or fated for those actors/actresses that got the role. If they didn't play as the main leads, the drama would have flopped. I am glad things became the way they did.

I think the roles became big because of the actors who played them... I know WoH in particular would have been a totally different work, and likely less impactful, if Li Daikun had taken the lead... He's actually my favorite actor in my favorite role in the drama, but he was right about his suitability for that lead role.
  • thank you Yang Yang for passing on various roles, the more you skip, the better….Luo Yunxi soo owned the role of Tantai Jin, he has a weird hardness underneath his amazing face, he made this uneven affair into the success it was, and yep, he sizzles with Bai Lu. And Xu Kai…unfortunately, same as Yang Yang: they need to stick to modern drama
  • @tashaonly
Yang Mi as Bai Fengxi? Nope, nope, nope.
  • Nope, The Untamed would have just been mehhhhh if Yang Yang was the lead. He’s good but XZ and WYB nailed those roles. They should platinum their roles so no one else can do it anymore. Also, I have NEVER heard Yang Yang sing, does he even sing?
