I have the mini homeowner grade ZTS1 version. No fancy suspension on the front, in fact, the frame is so rigid i can lift a wheel over a foot in the air with no flex whatsoever. It has multiple grease zerks, mostly in the steering linkage bushings on the front. I got it for one specific reason: Hills. My property is on the side of a mountain, So I have a 200 plus foot long hill right down the middle that varies between 17 and 25 degrees. I can mow sideways along most of it. A regular Zero turn would just lawn dart down the hill, and a lawn tractor, or any tractor would flip over. That's where these mowers shine is on hills and in and amongst trees, They are a lot more precise than a regular zero turn cleaning up the woodlands that are my front lawn. With a heat index of 107 today, the grass can grow, though.

We bought a Pro Z 100 steering wheel Cub Cadet in 2018. It has been a great mower and we would buy another one without any hesitation. Outdoors with the Morgans recently did a video with the cub cadet zero turn steering wheel mower also. I would bet after the release of your video and their’s that more people will probably purchase this type of mower.

I own the Pro Z 970 (dual wheel for hills). It is a fantastic machine. The steering wheel was initially to accommodate my wife who does not like the traditional zero turn handles. I have come to love it as well. Absolutely fantastic machine at a crazy price but I wanted to buy a machine for the next 10 years and have the additional stability of the 4 back wheels. Good video.
  • I have had a cub cadet 0 turn since 2015 and mine has greaseless blade pulley hubs I have not had one issue with them, I cut about 2.5 acres weekly in Wisconsin, It needed plugs, air filter and oil changes. I will buy another one when this one junks out.

I have (4) of the PROZ960s. My guys will never let me go back to lap bars or stand up. Built in turf tear reduction and the coveted ability to mow on steep slopes and around retention ponds like a breeze is truly a game changer. Our production has increased 20%. NO MORE 3 point turns.
  • Totally agree with cub steering wheel hill stability and it not tearing when zero turn. When the patent expires, I expect it to be widely adopted by other brands.
  • Well if this YouTube gig don't work out for ya Brock , Cub Cadet will put you on in a heart beat ! lol Good job pc
  • Hands down the coolest concept I’ve seen for a zero turn. It definitely has my attention!

I bought my Z54 back about10 years or more 400hrs. Running the front wheels off of it. I like the new design!

I am happy with my toro zero turn “with a steering wheel”! I purchased it new on end of season clearance for $1700. About 1/10 th of the price of these. It is 5 years old and still going strong. :)
  • The shopping cart analogy is THE best selling point when mowing on slopes, especially around ponds, major pucker. Kind regards

I had my cub cadet 12 years. Your right it is the best mower on the market.
  • I have had mine for 6 years, I would buy it again. it works on my side hills along my driveway.
  • I drove this one it is fast has great tork doesn't spin the tires on take off or sharp cornering i would love to have one but the cub i bought about 15 years ago is still in great shape.
  • Hello people we don't greese our cars anymore and they don't wear out. No biggie!! Love the grass shoot and that pulley guard is genius.
  • That was a heck of an explanation Brock. Thanks. I also see where that design is much much more stable on a side incline.

Looks like a great mower. A friend of mine has a Cub with the steering wheel and he loves it..
