PLOT: It has been eight years since Batman (Christian Bale), in collusion with Commissioner Gordon (Gary Oldman), vanished into the night. The fact that this scene has no music is what makes it so memorable. Just Bane’s epic lines, Batman feeling helpless, and the cracking of bones. Goosebumps.

The way Bane toyed with Bats & ate those those punches & whooped his ass without breaking a sweat or heavy breathing while giving speeches was such bad ass.

This movie was my 18th birthday present. I can still remember seeing the scene for the first time and actually cheering when Bane broke the Bat; a classic comic book moment I never thought I'd ever see put on screen.
