Arizona House votes to repeal state's 1864 abortion ban

In a vote of 32-28, the Arizona House has voted to repeal the state's abortion ban statute. Three Republicans, Matthew Gress, Justin Wilmeth, and Tim Dunn, joined with all House Democrats in voting yes Wednesday afternoon.

    A 12yo that was raped by a relative or any other adult should not be forced to have her rapist's child under any circumstance IMO.

    My question to those who ban all abortions: are you ready to vote for more funds for daycare, more schools, more medical care for disabled children etc? Probably not because history shows that most conservatives vote no on these type of needed programs for children. You can't vote for one and not the other. Try not to be a hypocrite.

    You just do not "get it?" The standard is the federal law putting emphasis on individual responsibility. American states option is an alternative to a fully autonomous and responsible state having liberty.

    I’m so tired of hearing the rights of the women who are carrying an unborn child. What about the rights of the child? Every woman who aborts the precious life of her baby for no reason other that’s it’s an inconvenience to her will stand in front of God one day and be judged. A baby is a gift from our creator. If a woman doesn’t want a baby, then abstain from sex or take birth control pills or some other kind of birth control. But please don’t kill your baby. Put it up for adoption and let some family love him/her as their own. Abortion is not birth control!
